Dr. Anuradha has conducted more than hundred Millets Cooking Workshops in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and other major cities of Karnataka.

  • 40 years of experience in research and teaching. Guided a total 45 students (28 M.Sc. and 17 Ph.D students) for their post graduation programs.
  • He has handled several projects funded by DBT, ICAR, BRNS and PPV&FRA.
  • He has been credited with excellent national and international publications (100) in reputed journals.
  • He has been involved in the development of popular varieties viz., HR 911 in ragi, in groundnut Dh 40, GPBD-4, Mutant (28-2) and GPBD 5.
  • Development of mapping populations, genetic maps and genomic resources for disease resistance/nutritional traits in groundnut and ragi has been the foremost contribution to research, which is driving current research in these areas.
  • He has been the member of several committees of ICAR, DBT, QRT and NAIP to review the progress and also to formulate guidelines for the projects.
  • He has delivered several invited lectures on molecular markers, construction of genetic maps and development of mapping populations, genetic resource utilisation and on several other topics in conferences/symposia/workshops.
